GENERAL INFORMATION:
KumKum offers you a wide selection of game species plus leopard to hunt. The high phosphate content of the vegetation, due to scarce rain fall, stimulates good horn development. SCI Gold Medal and Rowland Ward trophies are frequently harvested-we challenge any area in Southern Africa to produce Cape Eland, Gemsbok, Red Hartebeest and Springbuck on a better average than here.

Most hunting is done on 250 000 acres (100 000 ha) adjacent land where hundreds of game can be seen almost every day while hunting. This by itself is an awesome experience to our hunting clients and observers. This land is home to the Hartmann Mountain Zebra, Leopard, Greater Kudu, Klipspringer, Springbuck, Steenbuck, Red Hartebeest, Cape Eland, Kalahari Gemsbuck/Oryx, Blesbok, Jackal, Lynx, Baboon, Dassies, Ostrich and other Mammals.

The terrain is a beautiful diversity of mountains, valleys and wide open plains. On all this land game is guarded carefully. The animals are monitored and utilized for the benefit of all concerned. The goal is to protect wildlife and wild species for the future and for your benefit by experiencing it now.

With us you can still hunt truly fair chase the whole day - we leave camp at dawn and return at dusk. Supervision and hunting is done under personal guidance of your thoroughly experienced hosts. Because we mainly hunt our own indigenous self-bred game, we can make you a very good offer. Please negotiate with us. To ensure total commitment to our clients, we only take one hunting party at any given time.

Hunting is done by driving with 4 x 4 vehicles till animals or fresh "spoor" (game tracks) is observed, which is then followed on foot. For those who cannot or do not want to walk, waiting at certain strategic points for animals, driven in hunter's direction, is also done. For those who like to hunt on foot in the mountains, this is the ideal place.
